Last weekend three art students came from Central California and hung
out with me in my studio for two days.  I kept the group small--3
developed oil painters who study with my friend Bill Dyer in Aptos.  It
was great from my point of view,  and I think the visitors loved it
too.  So now I am open to the idea of small groups hanging out with me
in my studio for the weekend to see how I do it.  They would get the
whole shot--demos, photoshop, studio techniques--you bring your art
supplies and paint with me in my studio--if need be, I can provide you
with everything--in case travel with art supplies is problematic.  This
is a new idea based on requests over the years from artists who want
more focused attention than large workshops provide.  I am interested
primarily in guests who are deeply committed to the oil painting
process.  My wife, Janey, is the head of visitor relations at the 5
star resort Villagio Inn and Spa in Yountville, CA  located 5 minutes from my studio,  and
she will see to all accomodations for the weekend.  She is a legend in
the trade and gets all of the deals and special arrangements for her
guests.  So then, small group (3) at my studio in Napa, Ca.  Price? 
Donations accepted--about $250.00 for the two days at my place--coffee
and stuff provided, but we eat meals at local dives.   Call Janey at
